Another PinterestWin! I could literally live off of appetizers, this one is a little more hearty than most, but a great, creative finger food dish for a party!
Ingredients:
2 cans (8oz) of Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/2 cup roasted red bell peppers (well drained)
8 slices provolone cheeses (in my picture you will see sliced mozzarella, that's what I had on hand)
1/3 lb. of deli sliced hot salami
1/4 lb. of deli sliced ham
1/4 lb. of deli sliced capicola
1/2 cup of drained banana peppers (well drained)

1/3 lb. of deli sliced hot salami
1/4 lb. of deli sliced ham
1/4 lb. of deli sliced capicola
1/2 cup of drained banana peppers (well drained)
Directions:
Step 1- Preheat the oven to 375'
Step 2- Unroll both cans of dough, separate into 8 rectangles. On a greased 12-inch pizza pan, arrange rectangles in a ring. (Dough ring should resemble a sun)
Step 3- Start to layer the ingredients. There is no set system here, from my pictures you can see I layered in order of: Ham, roasted red peppers, salami, capicola, cheese, and finally the banana peppers.
Step 4- Bring each dough rectangle hanging over the side of the pan up over the filling, tucking the dough under the bottom layer of the circle; pinch to secure it. (some of the filling may show but that is okay!)
Step 5- Bake 18-22 minutes or until dough is golden brown and thoroughly baked. Remove from oven, cool and cut into slices. ENJOY!
** Make sure both types of peppers are well drained to prevent the dough from getting soggy.
***You can use any Italian deli meat in this recipe, so use what I suggested, or your favorite kind!
