- 1 pkg of thinly sliced/shaved beef. (can also use roast beef from the deli)
- 4 large green bell peppers
- 1 pkg of sliced mushrooms
- 1 large white onion, thinly sliced
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 8 think sliced of provolone cheese
- 1 tbsp of olive oil & 1/2 tbsp spoon butter
- Seasoning to taste. I used garlic powder, onion powder, and S&P.

- Preheat the oven to 400' degrees
- Wash and dry the peppers
- Cut the top off and discard the seeds & membrane inside so the pepper is hollow
- In a large pan, heat olive oil and butter, add onions, garlic and mushrooms. Cook on med-low for about 15 minutes until tender and set aside.
- In same pan, add the shaved beef and seasonings. Cook lightly until no pink, about 3 minutes - don't over cook.
- Start layering the pepper: start with one slice of cheese, add the filling of meet and veggies, top with another slice of cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes. Pepper should be tender and cheese melted.
